Alphabet Gallery

Pirates, alphabet celebration and graduation

This week was graduation and our alphabet celebration, and for the fun of it, we added in some pirate fun

Wednesday was our alphabet picnic. Each student was assigned a letter and brought in a show and tell item that started with the letter. We had snacks outside, played with bubbles, listened to songs and had a  great time!

Here is our picture holding our letter puppet friends! The students loved playing with the puppets

Then Friday was graduation!

Z Week

We spent the week learning about zoo animals, zippers, and zebras. The kids had lots of fun building homes for the zoo animals
Our last letter animals. Letter Z zebras

 Painting stripes on zebras

We also made zoo animal puppets

Ocean Week

Due to snow days we didn't get much time on the letter O. So we decided to spend another week learning about the Ocean. We made octopuses from toilet paper rolls
After reading the rainbow fish we made some rainbow fish with a shiny silver scale out of paper plates
 Rainbow fish handprints!
We also made some awesome shark hats!

Here are some egg jockey's we made at Afternoon Adventure

Here are some pictures from our horse races! They were so much fun
 And our adorable Derby hats

We used patterns to decorate Jockey Jerseys

 Horse handprints

Used sticks to build a corral for the horses

Matched up jersey's and decorated hot air balloons
