Spectacular S

We had a super time learning about S last week! We made stockings, built santa and snowmen, learned how to spell Santa, made snow flakes and much more!
We set up a gift wrapping center. The students loved it but they went through a whole roll of tape in about 15 minutes. Next time I might have pre cut strips ready for them :)

Felt board Santa and Snowman!

We had a little Christmas tree decorating

Tada! Our letter S Snowmen! I think they turned out great!

The students cut out the beards themselves and glued on the cotton balls!

Misc. Thanksgiving

Here are some photos of what we were up to the two days of school before thanksgiving break. We had a lot of fun prepping for the Holidays.
We set up a table with for a Thanksgiving meal. We also practiced our fine motor skills by threading canoes.

My favorite project for the week was our thankful turkeys. I loved hearing the kids responses when I asked what they are thankful for

Jingle J

We've "J"umped right into the Christmas season with the letter J. We made jingle bell shakers, tasted Jelly Beans, made Jelly fish J's and much much more
Here we are making our candles for the Holiday House

We set up fireplace and miniature Christmas Tree

We had a Jammie day! Here are the Jammies in front of our Jelly fish

Decorated felt Christmas Trees

Painted some paper towel tubes and played with Jewels in sand

Don't forget about the candy cane J's!
All in all it was a great week, even though it was cut short with a snow day on friday, Which leads perfectly into our snow filled week next week with S
