Excellent E Week

E week turned out to be a lot of fun. As we continued through the week, we had fun discovering more and more words that begin with E.  We did an egg in vinegar "e"xperiment, put an egg in coke and used tooth paste to brush it white again, and set up a glass and observed "E"vaporation!

Here are our "Eye" glasses! They were a lot of fun to decorate and most of the students cut the pieces out all my themselves

 Some Elbow painting

Used handprints to make Eagles

We started painting "eggs" for our bunny breakfast in 2 weeks

Our letter E elephants

Letter R

We had a great time learning about the letter R! We had a great time celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Monday. We made paper towel leprechauns, shamrock hats and used toilet paper rolls to stamp clovers. Later in the week we turned our table into a road, made roosters out of paper plates, made rain drops and much more. We also spend more time learning about rainbows.

 Here is our road

Our raindrops using saran wrap to spread paint around and mix colors

My favorite project of the week were our rectangle robots. The kids had a great time deciding what pieces to use for each part of their robot! They all turned out different and unique!

Some of the kids got really creative and gave their robots utility belts!

Here are our letter R rabbits and we used celery to stamp red roses
